We are here to help you optimize your processes

Our Services

This advisory service brings extensive experience from the gas purification industry, supporting clients from concept development and proposal preparation through commissioning and operational optimization across four main market segments:

Conventional Oil and Gas

In conventional oil and gas operations, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a highly toxic and corrosive gas commonly present in sour reservoirs, posing significant risks to personnel safety, infrastructure integrity, and process reliability. Its effective removal and management—through technologies such as amine treating and scavenging systems—is critical to meet safety standards, prevent corrosion, and ensure compliance with product specifications and environmental regulations.

Biofuels

In biodiesel production, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) may be present in feedstocks or formed during processing of sulfur-containing or degraded organic materials, particularly when using waste oils or fats. Their control and removal are important to prevent corrosion, protect catalysts, and ensure product quality as well as compliance with environmental and fuel specifications.

Biogas

In biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) systems, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) are primary contaminants formed during anaerobic digestion of organic matter. Their removal is essential to prevent corrosion, enable efficient upgrading to pipeline-quality gas, and meet environmental and regulatory standards.

Geothermal Energy

In geothermal operations, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is commonly present in produced steam and non-condensable gases, posing challenges related to toxicity, corrosion, and emissions. Effective abatement and treatment systems are required to ensure safe operations, protect infrastructure, and comply with strict environmental limits.

Mercury [Hg]

Mercury is often present in trace amounts in natural gas, biogas, and liquid hydrocarbon streams, where it can cause severe damage to equipment such as aluminum heat exchangers and catalysts. Its removal using specialized adsorbents is critical to ensure process safety, asset integrity, and compliance with environmental and product specifications.
